African fractals/Algoritmos africanos

En estos días pillé una cosa halucinante - el uso de sofisticados algoritmos por parte de varios grupos africanos en casi todo el continente sub-sahariano. Se trata sobre todo del proceso de recursión, es decir la repetición de formas o procesos a progresivamente menores escalas hasta la infinidad y resulta que hace parte de aplicaciones incuyendo el peinado, el arte, la arquitectura, los juegos, y representaciones de las estructuras sociales. Aparentemente, una versión de lo mismo es central en algunas formas de divinación que fueron exportadas a España por los moros. El mismo algoritmo aparece en el trabajo del filósofo Liebniz, y después de muchos años llegaron a dar orígen a los 1 y o del código binario que es el fundamento de la digitalización. Bacano! I ran into something absolutely mindblowing the other day - the use of sophisticated fractal algorithms by various African groups in practically the entire sub-continent. Its mostly based on the principle of recursion, in which forms or processes are repeated on progressively smaller scales to infinity, and it turns out that it is fundamental in apllications including hairstyles, art, architecture, games (Mankala), and representations of social structures. Apparently, a version of this principle appears in certain forms of divination which were exported to Spain by the Moors. The same algorithm appears in the work of Liebniz, from whom, years later, it would be applied to make the 1s and 0s of the bainary code that is the basis of digital code. Crazy!
